All settings in one place
Škrinjar settings are accessed via the popup: click the gear icon. Settings are organised into 6 sections.
Security
Auto-lock timeout
The vault locks automatically after a period of inactivity. Default: 15 minutes. Range: 1–60 minutes or "Never".
Lock on browser close
The vault locks whenever you close the browser. Enabled by default — recommended.
Clipboard clearing
Automatically clears the clipboard after copying a password. Default: 30 seconds.
Change master password
Re-encrypts the entire vault with a new master key. Old backups keep the old password.
Generator defaults
Default password length
The initial length when you open the generator. Default: 20 characters.
Default character types
Which character types are enabled by default: lowercase, uppercase, numbers, symbols.
Default passphrase words
Number of words for passphrase generation. Default: 4 words.
Autofill
Show lock icon
Show or hide the lock icon in input fields. Disable if it conflicts with other extensions.
Subdomain matching
Whether
mail.google.com should match credentials saved for google.com. Enabled by default.Auto-save new logins
Offer to save credentials when you log in to a site not in your vault. Enabled by default.
Appearance
Theme
Light, Dark or System (follows your OS preference).
Language
Croatian or English. Changes the extension interface language.
Import / Export
From this section you can access password import and backup and export.
Data
Delete vault
Permanently deletes all data. Requires master password confirmation. This cannot be undone.
Before deleting the vault, make sure you have a backup. After deletion, data is permanently lost.
